"When Hearts Break, We Hold Each Other Together"

 Hearts Are Heavy Today

Hearts are heavy today.

It’s hard to put into words the ache that sits quietly beneath the surface. Grief is never easy, and when it comes suddenly—or feels too soon—it seems to stop time. The stillness, the questions, the sadness that finds its way into every quiet corner of our day.

And yet, in the midst of sorrow, something beautiful begins to stir.

I’ve watched as our community leans in, side by side. I’ve seen arms wrap around shoulders, meals delivered without a word, stories shared with laughter through tears. It is in these hardest of moments that we are reminded—we are not alone.

We carry each other.

We cry with one another.

We allow space for grief to be what it is: messy, raw, sacred.

And in that space, healing begins.

A scripture that brings comfort during times like these is found in Psalm 34:18:

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

Even in our pain, there is presence. A nearness. A gentle reminder that God walks with us, through each tear, through every heavy breath.

To anyone hurting today: your sorrow is seen. You are surrounded by people who care, and you are held by a God who comforts.

Let’s continue to share stories, offer quiet support, and lean on one another. It is in these shared moments that healing finds its way in. One breath at a time. One prayer at a time. One memory at a time.

You are not alone.
